3) Link your site to a database using the included MySQL database; ODBC and JDBC database connectivity is also supported.

4) Generate dynamic server-side content with CGIs and Java Servlets.

5) Deliver web content and deploy enterprise Java applications to Internet clients with any standards-based browser.

Web Hosting
is a service which allocates space for customers to showcase their websites on computer servers that are connected to the Internet

Every server on the Internet has a unique numerical IP (Internet Protocol) address. You can think of servers as apartment buildings with unique addresses. Each apartment unit within each building is equivocal to space rented out for individual websites. And like real apartment buildings, each unit also has an address based on “the building” in which it is located. When you rent a space on a server then, you’re setting up house on the Internet. You can be reached by a unique address (the website address), which is based on the server’s address.

WEB HOSTING COST ?????

There are many different types of web hosting. Most packages come with certain capabilities for users. Examples are scripts that allow interactive functions, forms, bulletin boards and guest books. For professional purposes there are also Web hosting services that offer commercial packages that bundle business tools, like point of sales packages and credit card processing. Prices for Web hosting vary from free to hundreds of dollars a year, depending on your needs. Web hosting for personal websites that don’t require any special tools and have low traffic can be found easily for free.

Free Web hosting is convenient but has its drawbacks. Usually it will be required that you allow the server to run advertisements on your website. The advertisements are normally banner ads. Most free hosting services offer an alternative pay-plan to have the advertisements removed.

There are other considerations when looking for a
Web host aside from price. Some hosting services have policies that restrict certain content, scripting languages, functions or uses. You should also read the privacy policy of any hosting service that you are considering, to see how they will use the personal information you provide to them in setting up your account.

So here are some web hosting info..so..try to click it

The amount of information we receive everyday through televisions, radios, and internet is increasing at unimaginable rate…huh…how UNIMAGINABLE RATE???? so great…..this possibilities also increase our knowledge and understanding.To build on what we already know however, requires critical thinking.

“Critical thinking is a common objective of various disciplines and a goal that most of us aspire”

cartoon111
Nowadays, we want students be able to examine logical relationship among statements of data, construct arguments, respect diverse perspectives, view phenomena from different points of view and have the flexibality to recast their thinking when reason leads them to do so. All of these activities need critical thinking.

Online discussion can engage students in a wide range of activities that contribute to intellectual growth such as they use chat or blog to share idea with each others in meaningful way…yup..such as activity we do now..commenting in friends blog….hm..so am i sharing my idea..hope so….(“,)

Here i want to share some information with all of u guys…

So…what you’re waiting for…lets start commenting friends’ blog to test your critical thinking..hehehe

web-40

kebabooom….wow WEB 4.0????….a new hype…it is new or hot topic which is passing in my ear nowadays…huhu..i’m only discover about web 2.0…seem i’m left out in knowing these topic… so let review about the technological explosion nowadays…

Web 2.0 may have been about web applications and combining data
Web 3.0 may have been about the great availability of the super-information cloud through aggregated applications leveraging articulated APIs,

but now we’re on the dawn of the cusp of Web 4.0….What is Web 4.0???

Web 4.0 is the impending state at which all information converges into a great ball of benevolent self-aware light, and solves every problem from world peace to why Lost stinks this season. All humans will begin working 24×7 to feed our new data overlord on a steady diet of email, PowerPoint foils, and cute pictures of our grandkids and/or dogs. The final transition to this state of computational bliss will be achieved by the soon to be announced Super Core Infinity Grande processor line, which puts an infinite number of cores in a single processor. We will officially announce this processor the day before a nameless competitor announces their Infinity+1 line of processors, which will puncture a hole in the fabric of space and destroy us all. The upside of this annihilation is that it will prevent anyone from coming up with Web 5.0…”

what WEB 5.0…oh no…i just knowing about Web 4.0 then new evolution will come out….so…now we are now in…????

evaluate_01

Just wanna to share with u guys about this article…about EVALUATION...i think it is helpfull..so have some tyme to read it…if not…hm u will  loss your sense immensely..hehehehehe….

ADDIE MODEL  blog-cartoon-2

ASSURE MODEL

INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN MODEL FOR CONSTRUCTIVIST LEARNING

ALTERNATIVE ID MODELS

so lets read and explore all the instructional design (ID) model with lot of enjoyment and patience…yeah..gud luck..and the most important hope our group will decide which ID model we want to use..

Hm..i don’t know why….every web class was very enjoy…felt time is running faster although the class is 3 hours..hehe..maybe we use the time with full of activities and talk and talk….ops…maybe me like to talk and talk…but seriously….we do a lot of works..we share opinion in the class n everything (jokes too)….so this week, we just discussing on the final web project…how to write a proposal….the right flow to write…we are lucky because we can ask and discuss with Dr Zaidatun about our topic….huh…”DISCO EVERYTHING”..look so bad from the word of “disco”..but we try to change it into the interesting way…so wait!!!..

quality-cycle21

So tired…but my stomach full of chicken chop…hehehe..actually i want to share with u guys about today’s class…we have present our template that we’ve design based on strategy we have chosen….so my group present about discovery learning…..it’s so hard to design the template…1 of all we need to know an understand the strategy we want to used..then related it into technology….so based on Dr Zaidatun…she told us that we can use the template as a material in teaching and learning, and we also can make activity on it which student can interact…..so i  don’t know which is more better..but based on my understanding when we want to implement the strategy or theory in to technology….it is good we can interact with student…i know it is so hard..especially teacher must know about the php, asp and etc….

So..you guys…which one is more better..or both maybe???? Based on Dr Zaida..it’s depend on the theory we want to use..hm maybe……..(“,)

What is DISCOVERY LEARNING???
Discovery learning is an inquiry-based, constructivist learning theory that takes place in problem solving situations where the learner draws on his or her own past experience and existing knowledge to discover facts and relationships and new truths to be learned.

How ????
Students interact with the world by exploring and manipulating objects, wrestling with questions and controversies, or performing experiments. Students more likely to remember concepts and knowledge discovered on their own.

Advantages ???
* encourages active engagement
* promotes motivation
* promotes autonomy, responsibility, independence
* the development of creativity and problem solving skills.
* a tailored learning experience

Then…what the different with INQUIRY LEARNING ???

The Inquiry Learning model takes advantage of students’ natural curiosity. It requires well-developed questioning skills. It helps students to develop strategies and processes for collecting and evaluating information (information literacy)

How ????
Students immerse themselves in the topic, context, or situation they are studying. They investigate the location, historical background, current situation, and problems. They become mini-experts on the topic (Knowledge Attack) before beginning the inquiry process (Inquiry Learning Model). In inquiry process students form a question that becomes the focus of their investigation. They form subsidiary questions, form hypotheses, plan and carry out their research, come to some conclusions, and decide how they could make change happen.
